You might not know it but here at Berkshire Office Furniture in Reading we have our own in-house workshop where a team of very clever people renovates, repairs and reupholsters furniture… making it look beautiful again. In a world of plastic (hard to avoid when it comes to office furniture), it is our aim to recycle and reuse as much as possible.

Our re-upholstery and wood re-polishing teams get all sorts of different projects coming through the door. Tired hotel dining furniture, scuffed antique art gallery benches, stunning Oxford college woodwork, worn out university sofas, upholstered council seating, large batches of operator chairs, sad looking tub chairs and much more of course. It is their job to sympathetically restore furniture to its former glory. It’s a whirlwind of a ride sometimes and everyone mucks in, pulls their weight and works very hard to get the job done.

We will be revealing more about life in our workshop in the weeks to come…

In the meantime, if we can help with any of your furniture projects then do get in touch and we’d love to help! [email protected] or 01189 576144.
